FIELD GUIDE · DISCORD GAMEPLAY

From your first expedition to the shared world.

This guide explains the core loop, the commands that matter and the decisions that commonly cost new players their loot.

THE CORE LOOP

Fight, decide, extract, improve

  1. 01Start a run
  2. 02Defeat encounters
  3. 03Build risk and rewards
  4. 04Extract before defeat
  5. 05Improve your loadout
  6. 06Strengthen your crew

The rule that matters most: loot from a run becomes permanent only after a successful extraction.

QUICKSTART

Your first seven steps

Use this as a compact checklist while playing in Discord.

01
STEP 1

Create your character

Use the Discord onboarding command and choose a class.

02
STEP 2

Start an expedition

Run /expedition start and defeat the first encounter.

03
STEP 3

Watch the risk

Every victory improves the run, but unextracted loot is still at risk.

04
STEP 4

Extract in time

A successful extraction secures all items and resources collected in that run.

05
STEP 5

Equip upgrades

Open /inventory, compare effective stats and equip the best item for each slot.

06
STEP 6

Join a crew

Use /crew join on the Discord server that should become your home crew.

07
STEP 7

Enter the shared world

Contribute to regions, quests, rankings and world boss encounters.

Expeditions

/expedition start/expedition resume

Endless runs combine combat, caves, elite encounters and extraction choices. Difficulty and potential rewards rise as the run continues.

Remember: Only extraction secures the loot collected during the current run.

Combat

AttackDefendAbilityFlee

Read enemy telegraphs, use class abilities around their cooldowns and defend when a dangerous attack cannot be interrupted.

Remember: Fleeing ends the encounter and should be a deliberate risk decision, not a free reset.

Loot and rarity

/inventory/expedition resume

Longer runs unlock better rarity chances and larger resource rewards. Epic, Legendary and Mythic items remain intentionally rare.

Remember: A rare name does not automatically make an item better for your current build.

Equipment and sets

/inventory/level

Your active loadout directly affects expeditions and personal world boss raids. Full armour sets require five unique armour slots from the same set.

Remember: Weapons do not count towards a five-piece armour set.

Crafting

/craft/crew menu

The workshop previews the result, rarity, slot and calculated costs before an item is created. Higher recipes require crew workshop levels.

Remember: Crafted items start at level 1, so compare the result with your equipped item first.

Global market

/market browse/market sell/market cancel

Buy missing upgrades or sell unequipped items to other players. Fees and all balance changes are processed server-side.

Remember: Check the net proceeds before listing an item; the trading post can reduce fees.

Crews and regions

/crew join/crew menu/world

Your home crew connects personal progress to shared buildings, storage, regional influence and control. Crew and personal resources remain separate.

Remember: Changing your home crew starts a seven-day cooldown.

World bosses

/worldboss/attack/leaderboard boss

Every player attacks the same global boss through a persistent personal raid. Read the next telegraph and choose the matching counter action.

Remember: Rust King revolves around furnace heat. Nyxara builds abyss pressure and corruption.

Progression

/level/quests daily/achievements progress

Player levels, quests, achievements, crew progress and seasonal rankings advance in parallel and reward different kinds of activity.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Short answers

What do I lose on defeat?

Only the unsecured loot from the current run. Previously extracted items and resources remain yours.

When should I extract?

When the potential gain from another fight no longer justifies risking the loot already collected.

How do I find better rarities?

Longer runs unlock better chances, but high rarities are never guaranteed.

Why does my crew matter?

Crew buildings, shared resources and regional influence expand progression beyond a single character.

READY FOR THE NEXT RUN?

Discord remains your cockpit.
